He is a professor at the Architecture Department of FCTUC and a researcher at the Center for Social Studies at the University of Coimbra. He holds PhD in Architecture, in 2010, at the University of Coimbra: A Universidade na Cidade. Urbanismo e Arquitectura universit\u00e1rios na Pen\u00ednsula Ib\u00e9rica da Idade M\u00e9dia e da primeira Idade Moderna<\/i>. He has produced research in the field of Theory and History of Architecture, particularly in the history of university architecture and urbanism and in the history of Portuguese architecture (16th<\/sup> to 18th<\/sup> centuries). He has taught course units of Architecture Theory and History, Design and Research Seminar. Between 2015 and 2018, he was Subdirector of the Department of Architecture of FCTUC. He was <\/span>Principal Researcher of the Santa Cruz Research Project, financed by FCT and FEDER\/COMPETE2020\/POCI, <\/span>between 2018 and 2022.<\/span><\/p>

Maria de Lurdes Craveiro is Associate Professor with Aggregation at the Arts Faculty of the University of Coimbra (FLUC). She is Correspondent Academic of the National Academy of Fine Arts. PhD in Art History from FLUC (2002) and teacher since 1988 at the Art History Institute of this Faculty. She is currently Coordinator of the 3rd Cycle in Art History.
She is the principal researcher of the \u201cMultidisciplinary Art Studies Group\u201d (GEMA), integrated in July 2007 at the Center for Studies in Archeology, Arts and Heritage Sciences, R&D Unit 281 of the Science and Technology Foundation (FCT).
In collaboration with various entities she has taken a prominent action in the defense, conservation and dissemination of architectural heritage. Noteworthy in Coimbra are the Trindade College, the Santa Clara-a-Velha Monastery, the Inquisition Courtyard, the medieval S. Domingos Monastery, the Santa Cruz Monastery, the Old Cathedral and the New Cathedral of Coimbra, Grij\u00f3 Monastery and the church of S. Juli\u00e3o at Figueira da Foz.
She has over half a hundred scientific works published in Portugal, Spain, Belgium, Brazil and the United States of America, covering the conceptual review exercise in Art History, heritage issues or the fields of painting, sculpture and architecture since the late Middle Ages to the neoclassical period. She is, since April 2021, the current Director of the Machado de Castro Nacional Museum (MNMC).<\/span><\/p>

He is Full Professor at the Department of Architecture (DArq) of FCTUC and researcher at the Center for Social Studies at the University of Coimbra. Since 1987, he has had continuous teaching practice with particular interest in Geometry, Theory and History of Architecture, Sustainability and Rehabilitation of Buildings. His research interests are quite diverse, very much associated with the subjects he teaches, with particular accuracy in the problematics inherent to architectural form.<\/p>

Alexandre Ramires is a teacher of Physical and Chemical Sciences at Infanta D.Maria Secondary School in Coimbra. He has taught History of Photography<\/i> and Photographic Genres<\/i> for the Degree in Artistic Studies at the Arts Faculty of the University of Coimbra. He was Director of the Imagoteca Municipal<\/i> of Coimbra. He was coordinator of the Porto Photography Archive of the Portuguese Center of Photography.
He conceived and executed, among others, the exhibitions: \u201cMem\u00f3ria das Oposi\u00e7\u00f5es\u201d, about the activity of oppositions to the Estado Novo; \u201cH\u00e1 horas que s\u00e3o de todos\u201d and \u201c25 por 25 | Em Abril, um Quartel Depois\u201d, on the 25 of April 1974 in Coimbra; \u201cRevelar Coimbra\u201d and \u201cPassado ao Espelho\u201d, on the beginnings of photography in Coimbra; \u201cVer a Republica\u201d, about the relationship of the University of Coimbra with the establishment of the Republic in Portugal.

Francisco Henriques holds a PhD in Science of Art and Heritage, and MFA in Art Theories. A Graphic Design graduate, he holds several specializations in Computer Graphics and Digital Image\u00a0Manipulation.<\/p>

His research focuses on the interaction between geometry and composition. He teaches image compositing, editing and manipulation, and animation. He is the author of several papers in national and international publications.<\/p>

Francisco Henriques began his professional career in design studios and advertising agencies, before moving to video post-production, working on TV commercials, video clips, channel branding, and motion titles. Initially working as a 3D modeller and animator, he later became a Flint and Flame artist in compositing, technical supervisor, art director, and director.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

He is a researcher of the \u00abSanta Cruz 3D project\u00bb (CES-UC), and at the CIEBA group \u00abFrancisco de Holanda \u2013 Ci\u00eancias da Arte e do Patrim\u00f3nio\u00bb (FBAUL \u2013 Faculty of Beaux Arts<\/i> of the University of Lisbon).\u00a0<\/p>

She is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Architecture, Faculty of Science and Technology, University of Coimbra. She teaches course units in the area of urbanism and conducts a Research Seminar. She is also a teacher and vice-coordinator of the Master in Integrated Urban Rehabilitation of the same department. She develops research in the area of the Theory and History of Urbanism, highlighting the processes of construction and transformation Portuguese cities and territory and in the area of policies and urban planning, with emphasis on intervention in the existing city and urban rehabilitation.<\/p>

Jorge C. S. Cardoso is Assistant Professor at the Department of Informatics Engineering at the Faculty of Science and Technology of the University of Coimbra and researcher at the Center for Informatics and Systems of the University of Coimbra (CISUC). He has a doctorate in Technologies and Information Systems and a master’s degree in Mobile Systems from the School of Engineering of the University of Minho and a degree from the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto.<\/p>

His research interests are in the area of Human-Computer Interaction (IHC) more specifically in the development and evaluation of interaction techniques and tools for Virtual Reality, Tangible Interfaces and Augmented Reality applied to cultural heritage.<\/p>

Ana Alcoforado studied History at the Arts Faculty of the University of Coimbra and was conservative curator of the Sculpture and Furniture Collections of the Machado de Castro National Museum (MNMC). Specialized in Public Administration and author of several publications related to the collections of the MNMC and other specialized publications, including Frei Cipriano da Cruz em Coimbra<\/i> (Coimbra, 2003) in co-authorship. \u00a0<\/span>She has participated as a researcher and commissioner in the production of various exhibitions, script and catalog design and other promotional material. She has conducted training and presented communications, within the scope of Art History (architecture and sculpture), Museology and Heritage Management.<\/p>

She was<\/span> the Director <\/span>of the Machado de Castro National Museum <\/span>between 2008 and 2021.\u00a0 <\/span>Since April 2021, she has been the Ombudsman for Inclusion and Citizenship of the DGPC (General Directorate of Cultural Heritage).<\/span><\/p>

Jos\u00e9 Antonio Mu\u00f1iz is an expert in systems, networks, microprocessors and computer simulation systems. He is also an expert in digital and visual F\/X cinema. Founder in 1988 of DIGIVISION, one of the first European companies to provide digital simulation and computer animation services, he is a producer of several TV documentary series. Parallel to the activity of DIGIVISION, he promotes business activities in technological sectors such as virtual reality, engineering and energy.<\/p>

Architect graduated from FAUP (Porto), Master in Genetic Architectures from ESARQ-UIC (Barcelona) and PhD in Architecture from IST-UTL (Lisbon). He was Special Student at MIT (Cambridge, MA) and a Visiting Scholar at UPenn (Philadelphia, PA). After teaching at ESARQ-UIC, IAAC and University of Coimbra, he is currently an Assistant Professor at FAUP where he founded and directs the DFL – Digital Fabrication Lab. Merging the realms of teaching, research and practice, his interests are related with constructive geometry, computational design, digital fabrication, robotics, digital culture, material innovation and cork in architecture.<\/p>
