The International Colloquium “Future Paths of Lost Heritage” aimed at disseminating and confront recent research on lost architectural, archaeological and urban heritage that has informed three-dimensional reconstitutions, either through artistic hand design or through 3D digital representation via new computer technologies.
The aim was to discuss the best ways to ensure the historical accuracy of the reconstructions and to debate the techniques and means to ensure the high reliability of the images produced, to be relayed by the most diverse means of dissemination. The conference included the participation of archaeologists, art historians, architects, computer scientists and specialists in dissemination and multimedia.

At the same time, the Santa Cruz research project facilitated the publication, in open access, of the proceedings of the International Colloquium “Jean de Rouen. Architecte et sculpteur européen à la Renaissance” (organized by the École Pratique des Hautes Études-PSL and the University of Rouen) in number 7 of digitAR – Digital Journal of Archeology, Architecture and Arts.
Jean de Rouen was a main protagonist of the renovation of the monastery that took place under king John III between 1527 and 1533, being the main responsible for passage of the Renaissance from sculpture to architecture, through the design of a series of portals, chapels and vaults in the renewed classical formal grammar.
